Chicago

Accompanied by a live big band of students and professionals, 22 students from years 10-12 razzle-dazzled the community at The Limelight Theatre. Our extremely talented senior school cast of ‘Chicago – The Musical’ performed 4 outstanding shows at the end of the term, celebrating half a year of hard work!

Putting together the production was a herculean effort; the cast lost the ability to rehearse throughout term 1 due to the pandemic restrictions, and isolation wreaked havoc throughout term two.

The outstanding success of the production is a testament to the ability and fortitude of the students involved. Tuesday evenings’ preview had over 80 people in attendance; opening night on Wednesday had more than 130 people attend and Friday and Saturday performances show sold out!

We are so incredibly proud of all students involved and would also like to extend a big thank you to the members of the band who joined us from many schools across WA!
